Ram Seshadri (Materials, Chemistry) and four other UCSB faculty members were named Fellows of the American Academy for the Advancement of Science for 2018. The other new Fellows from UCSB are Craig Carlson (Ecology, Evolution and Marine Biology), Trevor Hayton (Chemistry and Biochemistry), Bruce Luyendyk (Earth Science), and Oran Young (Bren School of Environmental Science & Management). They are among 416 new Fellows named for 2018.
