Communications & Signal Processing, Control Systems

Mostofi works on multi-disciplinary problems related to two areas of communications and robotics. Current research thrusts include: novel sensing methods with everyday communication signals (e.g., using WiFi for through-wall crowd analytics, imaging, person identification, and smart health), robotic through-wall imaging, communication-aware robotics, co-optimization of robotic navigation and communication, human-robot collaboration, and vision.
