Research
Byl's research includes: robot dynamics and control: particularly, locomotion and manipulation. Her work focuses on modeling and controlling such dynamics. Her research's applications include rough terrain legged locomotion, supervised autonomy, and tuned-impedance control for flapping-wing flight.
