Research
Zok's research interests concern design, fabrication and performance of materials and structures. He places emphasis on the fundamental understanding of performance-limiting mechanisms, through combined experimental, modeling and simulation studies. Topics of current interest include fiber-reinforced ceramic composites for gas turbine engines and novel cellular and truss structures.
