Please join us for UC Santa Barbara’s New Venture Competition (NVC) Finals on Thursday, May 23rd at 3:30PM, in Corwin Pavilion on the UCSB campus. The NVC Finals will highlight the business ideas of six student teams who will make an investor pitch to a panel of independent judges. We invite you to attend the pitches, vote for your "Peoples Choice" favorite, and stay for the awards ceremony. Winners will be announced following the event on the Technology Management Website. The NVC Finals are part of UC Santa Barbara's New Venture Program, in which students from all academic disciplines work for several months to develop innovative start-up business plans. The Finals showcases UCSB's best and brightest aspiring entrepreneurs in a Shark Tank-like event, judged by a panel of independent judges. The New Venture Fair and NVC Finals have become significant events in the local entrepreneurship ecosystem.
