And then there were six. Out of a cohort of 21 teams who have spent all year bringing their business ideas to life, six teams have advanced to the 2026 New Venture Competition (NVC) Finals. The six finalists: CoListable, DaJent, LegalTime AI, Mimic, MediMRF, and Yavin Systems will compete for tens of thousands of dollars in prizes during the finals. The NV is part of UCSB's New Venture Program, in which students from all academic disciplines work throughout the year to develop start-up business models for innovative product ideas.
