At the end of your UCSB Week of Welcome, come check out some of UCSB's 500+ registered campus organizations - including engineering student organizations - Associated Students (student government) entities, and the Residence Halls Association. With all of the opportunities to get involved, meet friends, gain leadership experience, and expand horizons, it's no wonder more than half of Gauchos get involved in clubs and activities! Nearly a third of UCSB students will serve as an organization officer before graduating. Come on out and get a taste of the many ways to meet new people, have fun, and continue your learning beyond the classroom.
