UCSB Office of Summer Sessions presents GRIT Talks (Ground-breaking Research/Innovative Technology), free and open to the general public. Hear UCSB Engineering faculty members Michelle O'Malley, Ben Zhao, and Paul Atzberger present their fascinating research.

Tuesday, July 19 at 5pm - Paul Atzberger, Professor of Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering, will present a talk on "The Hidden Role of Mathematics and Computation in Scientific Discovery and Engineering." The talk is held in Hatlen Theater.
