Security and Cryptography

Cryptography has become essential to secure present-day IT infrastructures, protecting communication and data of billions of users across the globe. Tessaro's research develops new provably secure cryptographic solutions for a number of tasks, and addresses the theoretical foundations of cryptography. Tessaro's work interacts with many other disciplines beyond cryptography, such as theoretical computer science, computer security, information theory, and distributed algorithms.
