I am an assistant project scientist in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UC Santa Barbara, working with Francesco Bullo. I graduated from Beijing University of Aero. and Astro. with a Bachelor's degree in Automation in 2001, and got my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2005. I obtained my Ph. D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McGill University under the supervision of Peter Caines, in 2010. I then spent one year at the University of British Columbia, as a postdoc working with Vikram Krishnamurchy.

Research Interests

My current work primarily revolves around the following topics:

  1. Opinion dynamics and co-evolution social networks

  2. Auctions and their potential applications in decentralized systems

  3. Large population stochastic systems and control

  4. Stochastic games and dynamic global games

  5. Nonlinear control and output regulation
