The Department of Mechanical Engineering invites applications for an open level, tenured or tenure track position in all core areas of mechanical engineering, with preference for bio-mechanical engineering and systems biology. Responsibilities include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, recruitment and supervision of graduate students, and the development of an actively funded research program of the highest quality. A PhD or equivalent degree, a demonstrated ability or the potential for outstanding teaching, and a demonstrated excellence in research are required. The Department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service.
