EII Router Update - Successful replacement of the Cisco Supervisor 720 |

On 4/28 the Engineering II Cisco supervisor 720 was successfully replaced. There is no report of network disruption related to this replacement. |

The EII router went offline at approximately 7:30am this morning. We we alerted and promptly responded, however, the problem appears to be hardware related and we do not have a spare on hand for this particular part. We are attempting to acquire a spare through both our on-campus partner and an off-campus vendor, but this is a slow process. We do not have an estimate as to when the problem will be fixed. This outage cuts off networking in EII building. Computers inside the building will be unable to connect to resources outside the building (and most likely within the building as well) and computers outside of EII will be unable to access resources located in that building.
Campus wireless is unaffected by this outage. More updates will be posted as soon as new information becomes available.

ECI Scheduled Maintenance (March 26-29 2012) |

ECI will be doing server and infrastructure maintenance throughout the week
of March 26 to March 29. The work is scheduled to occur in the early mornings
before the start of normal business hours (8am). We generally expect the actual
work to take less time than what is scheduled but the listed impact may last
the entirety of the maintenance window. The outcome should result in a more
